The runs here are absolutely fantastic. I was a new skier and I was able to ski with ease. The green runs are very easy - village way is the easiest run there. I didn't have lessons but by the end of the two weeks skiing I was doing blue runs. Highly recommended.

I took an all-day group lesson and lasted nearly through to the end! My instructor was great and very patient with me. I was terrified but he helped me calm down and eventually learn the basics of skiing. I hope to go back and build on what I learned!

The Mary Jane side of Winter Park has great moguls, very good terrain above tree line and free ski-in/out parking. Winter Park is the closest major resort to Denver.
