My 3 year old had so much fun here, and we can't wait to go back next month when we are in the area. The exhibits are awesome, very interactive and well-maintained. He especially loved the water area, which is the best I have ever seen. We have been to several children's museums and Stepping Stones is BY FAR the... More

I visited with my 2 year old - she really enjoyed the museum and was kept well entertained. A little too young for the room with the water lab but enjoyed everything else. I also liked that there were plenty of activities going on -- such as a music, sing along hour (forget the actual name). As much as I... More

Do you like structured insanity mixed with self-absored parents and their rambunctious children? Do you like to wander from room to room, enabling your short attention span to get even shorter? Well, then this is the place for you. Don't get me wrong - we have a MEMBERSHIP to this place, because hey, it's one of the only gigs in... More

My 6 year old had a blast from the get go! My 9 year old looked at me within a few minutes and asked if I "seriously" thought this was a place for him, too. He did lighten up and enjoy himself after a while. They both especially loved the energy room. But surrounded by toddlers, I would not recommend... More

I visited here over the weekend during accessbility day. It is so nice to see a musuem offer something like this for kids with special needs. The museum was very clean and the staff was nice. My 2 year old son especially liked the Energy lab where they do all kinds of things with balls like put them in an... More

Great interactive exhibits across a broad subject matter than will enthrall young children. My children have always been fascinated by the water area. Expect the children to get a little wet!!! The staff are excellent with all ages but this really is for 2-9 year olds.

We had a membership for a while. It's a perfect place to take kids on rainy days - they absolutely loved it.

Both of my kids spent the majority of their time in the Energy Center where there is an awesome air and water exhibit where brightly colored plastic balls (hundreds of them) are moved around using water, wind and solar power. The balls drop from overhead sometimes too- it's a lot of fun. The museum provides waterproof lab coats for the... More

This is THE place to take your little one!!! My 18 month old daughter was so happy and energetic. We spent four hours there, and she was engaged every minute of that time.
