For only $10 you get to do a tasting of 6 wines. The wine was good, the staff was helpful and friendly.

As another reviewer has said, the management need to get their act together. The staff comes across as incredibly arrogant which would be okay if there wines were decent. The grounds however were much nicer than the other winery I visited. Still there are so many better places to visit.
Sit a spell at this stop on the CT Wine Trail. We loved the tasting room. It was spacious and beautiful with a modern/open air. Head out to the balcony for some spectacular views. The pours were a nice size. Beth, the bartender, was lovely! She knew her products! Loved the 2011 Chardonnay! My husband loved all three reds on...

Upon entering Saltwater, I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the grounds. However the staff showed no signs of caring about my presence. They were completely unaware of my needs, or anyone else's needs for that matter. I would go back to walk the grounds, but never to buy wine or experience another tasting.
This vineyard is relatively young. I go whenever I am in the area. The old hangar is interesting and a very comfortable tasting locale. The staff is great. We went there for a wedding, which was staged perfectly. The views are great.
The wines are fine. They are a little higher priced than the rest of the ct wine trail,...

The scenery wsbeautiful, the people were friendly and the wine is delicious! It's a wonderful place to spend a warm fall day.

Built in an old airport hanger, this vineyard has one of the most beautiful views of Connecticut vineyards. The wines are average, but the atmosphere makes up for what the wines lack.
The winery is in an old airplane hanger- is gorgeous inside and out. The place is large but there wasn't enough staff doing tastings , so there was a wait. The staff pouring the tastings were kinda cheap... But the wines were good! It was a shame that it was rainy out because the outside space seemed so inviting. Great...

My son and daughter in law just celebrated their wedding at the Saltwater Farm Vineyard. It was a beautiful venue in every sense of the word!
