Needs more vegetation and trees. Is too arid, so it gets too hot. It used to be a very beautiful park, but now it just look plain and poorly maintain.

I love this park. Many walking and biking routes. Lots of green spaces to camp and a wonderful playground for the kids. There is also a water park for the tots. The grandkids love it.

Quiet Waters is great! Just spent the night camping there and I was incredibly pleased at the cleanliness. Got a little loud at night. Rent / bring a bike and hit the trails (or do a creepy night hike on them!).

My review is only about the campground, because I did not experience anything else in the park. PROS: 10-15 minutes from Deerfield Beach Very clean bathroom facilities, campground, and campsite Platform tents (Rent-A-Tents) are convenient and have bug netting, and seem to be in good condition CONS: Reservation process is a little difficult Not really an "outdoorsy" place, as I... This is a park that offers lots of different and some unique services - for more info, please google to pull up the official Broward County State Park webpage. There is lots of parking close to whatever venue you are going to. I was recently there for the Florida Renaissance Festival and this park is just excellent for hosting such... More

This is a fantastic park, easy to find, and there's so much to do. Have a picnic, cook on a grill, play some volleyball, go fishing, biking, camping, etc. Just so much fun! The Ren-Fest each February and March is a major must-see attraction. Most of the performances at the Ren-fest are geared towards ages, maybe 8 and older. Pre-teens/Teenagers... More

Me and my group of friends decided to go camping here. The only thing that was available was 2 native American teepees and a cavin. the only problem was that the cabins were far away from the teepees and the teepees had huge holes in them. We asked the manager if there were any reservations for cabins that have been... More

This Broward County Park, nestled in between the Turnpike and Powerline Rd, offers very good outdoor activities including the Ski Rixen cable water skiing attraction. It has bike trails and nature hikes as well. I went with the family and friends and also stayed in the Campground area, where you get to sleep in pre-made tents or Tepees. The grounds... More

We did this for xmas. It was a special for $20 a night and we loved it. We escaped all the family we didnt want to deal with haha. The tent was clean. The park ranger that checked us in was a little confused on the process. The next park ranger drove by every hour on the hour scoping everything... More
