Do yourself a favor and set time aside to walk this campus. I overheard one person saying that it's beauty was like being at Augusta for The Masters. Look deeper and you will discover an institution on the move focused on high standards and student success.

Attractive private college. I did not take a student led tour so my knowldge is minimal. We visited after touring the stetson Mansion. Mr. Stetson (of the cowboy hat fame) contributed a small fortune to transform the former Deland Institite into college

Yes this university was founded by the hat manufacturer. Elizabeth Hall, named after his wife, is a beautiful brick building housing an elegant concert hall. There are regular performances by faculty and students of the excellent music program. Quiet Woodland Blvd. is lined with old oak trees.

I went here for a conference and was impressed with the campus and employees. Everyone was extremely nice and accommodating. The campus is fairly small and modern (compared to what I'm used to at least -- very old universities in NY/NJ/PA). Everything is very close together and you can walk around and get a feel for the campus in less... More

Had a great experience at the College open house. The staff extremely helpful and welcoming, the tour took us around campus. Stetson should be very proud, they have a beautiful campus and you feel welcomed.

The campus has had a makeover in the last few years. Makes me with I went there now. The cafeteria has so many selections and the Hat Rack is completely changed. The thing that has not changed is the high prices in the bookstore!

During the last two years, I have been visiting Stetson Univ. with some of my exchange students. They have enjoyed the tours and the campus 100%. They enjoy the atmosphere and the friendly people they meet and aide us as we tour and see the sights. Always enjoy the day.

On my trip to Stetson Manor I also went to Stetson University and listened to the pipe organ and was told how it is played. It was informative and a beautiful sound.
