A nice and large playground area, along with some open grass fields and plenty of bench seating along the intracoastal. Relaxing place. Parking is typically available at nearly all times.

The docks are beautiful with lots of seating and cool pavilion. The wooden park needs to be fixed up a bit. Kinda dangerous for my 2 yr old. My kids like walking under the bridge to the other side and looking at the boats.

I am going to focus mainly on the play area for kids. Let's just say it has seen better days. Slides were boarded up, walking ramps were roped off, maintenance issues galore. Situated on the Intracoastal where the Tour Boats dock, this park not only has a great children's park within a park, it's located in the middle of downtown with plenty of parking and restaurants nearby. It is the site of numerous art shows and festivals year round.

This park has pretty fountains and is a nice place to spend a sunny afternoon. It's a very special part of delray.

Veterans park is in a spot where it attracts "all types of people". The park has a play set that the kids kind of liked scurrying around on. Veteran's park is a great place for any age person. Right on the water, benches, lots of grass, playground, fountain... just go.
