We have camped at Henderson for years, tent and camper. The campsites are spotless, very private by landscape and they have the cleanest air conditioned showers. The beach area is reserved for campers only and it feels private as well. Love this campground, there is no comparison.
Nature walks, the white sand beach .. great for an afternoon or camping. Right in town. Area has convenient shelter house/showers and is really close to Destin, restaurants - even major shopping across the highway. Great for casual beach and nature exploring or for longer term camping.

We always visit Henerson Beach State Park when we are not at a coast property. It is clean, the staff is friendly, it is safe and we just enjoy how well it is taken care of.

Gorgeous, non-crowded beach, pavilions, clean bathrooms. Definitely worth $6 entrance fee to come and go as you please. :)
The beach is very clean as are the restrooms. Nice picnic areas as well. Henderson beach is centrally located just off Hwy 98. The cost to enter is well worth and you can come and go all day.

The parks are well maintained and they have bathrooms, picnic tables, boardwalks to the beach, and showers. There is a small charge to...

When in Destin, we love going to Henderson Beach. Sugar white sand and the clear waters from the Emerald Coast. Yes, there is an entrance fee ($6 per car), but I think that eliminates some of the crowd and makes it a more family centered beach. The covered pavilions and bathroom facilities are well kept. We've never had an issue...
