it's a great place to go to wander beaches-look for shells get away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Take a chair take a nap-enjoy what nature has to offer.

$4 for car and occupants. Wonderfully rugged. Head for the Main Beach for the sandy side otherwise the other beaches are a little rocky. Great for sunsets.

Liked the secludedness of the beach, small waves-perfect for my kids, the cafe was yummy and there were lots of shells to be found. We've already decided we'll be back to this spot in the near future!!

Unique State Park - LOTS of Beautiful white Sandy beach and refreshing Ocean water. Great place to let the kids run and play at the Beach! Real Florida tropical island here!

I visited this park so I could catch the ferry to Calidesi Island (which is totally worth going). Sand at the main beach is fine and white. Rocky in some parts, with lots of shells for shell hunting. The main beach was crowded on a weekday. Lots of trails to hike on and enjoy the outdoors. Earth Day celebration going on while there which was pretty cool. Making of Rain barrels and such. You can fish, enjoy the beach, hike or just relax. Nice place to visit

It costs money to enter, but worth it to see a Florida beach kept in a more natural state. If you want fine raked sand and a tourist beach go to Clearwater (where you will pay for parking). Entrance fee for a car with 1 person is $4; for a honeymooner additional $4? This pricing is good for a family or groups; but not for a couple! ($8 up to 8 occupants) Instead of entering in this beach we chose Siesta key!
