Parking a problem, building set over the river, nice views. Some Olympians have talent beyond their sport prowess, but for most art talent is not their strong suit. Of course there are exceptions, shown in the occasional special exhibits.
A beautiful building and a great view from the second story is why this place got and points. Entering is expensive considering most are in the area is free, and most of the art is pretty bad.
The Art of the Olympians is housed in a wonderfully renovated white stucco building on the waterfront in Fort Myers at 1300 Hendry Street. The first floor gallery has an expansive view of the Caloosahachtee River. On this level are displays of equipment and memorabilia of various Olympians on a rotating basis.
