This is a great place for a family picnic and activities. we saw people paddle boarding kayaking and with surf boards. You cannot bring bottle into the beach but canned beer is ok. A great family and friends atmosheperd.

Very quiet place to go and relax. Back in the 50's we'd visit our Grandfather in the winter, and we always spent at least one day at Crandon Park Beach. Brought back wonderful memories.

Our family spent a couple days in the Keys so we wanted to be at a real sandy beach. After reading all these reviews, we were sold on Crandon. We got there in the afternoon on Saturday. There was a long line of cars at the entrance and we paid $10 to get in. Beach was nothing like the reviews.... More

almost nothing of florida is left in florida. everything has been turned into sameness. even the beaches all look the same, same tacky buildings to the right or the left, same tacky boats zooming by, same takey advertisers flying overhead. same disgusting pizza shops, same same same. Key biscayne is one of the few spots on atlantic that still reminds... More

Great beach, plenty of space and nice to walk. During the weekends can get crowded, especially after Memorial Day

Me & my husband visited this park during our Miami visit. This park is really very beautiful, very pretty... 1. It has got huge sea shore which is not really deep immediately at shore which allows you to play various games in water like, flying disc, beach ball etc... Also winds on the shore makes fun to fly kites. 2.... More

Growing up I used to come here with my family on weekends. On a recent trip back to Miami I decided to check it out since it had been years and I have lots of good memories of this place. The beach is cleaner and less crowded than South Beach. Watch out if you are hiking...the crocodiles are real!!!

Nice long beach, I like it weekdays for long bike ride, including all of Key Biscayne. Bike trail is nice, old zoo is cool ride through and visit remaining birds there. Visit state park too.

I recommend it for family reunions just cause there is always lots of parking even in the summer. The... More
