The plain trip is much more expensive than the ferry, but worth every penny! The view from the plain is amazing, and we saw many sea turtles, reefs and sharks! We took the last plain of the day, and arrived when the ferry left, so we had the hole island for ourselves! You are also provided snorkeling gear and a... More

Going to the Dry Tortugas by seaplane is a really nice thing to do! Tip: go for the first plane of the day, then you will have the island for yourself (the ferry arrives at 1030-1100, then there's 50+ more people there). More

This was pricey, but worth every penny.. Many passage ways in the fort to explore and lots of great photo opportunities. They supply a cooler and two drinks per person. Book early and note that the last trip of the day at 2 pm is not bad at all because the ferry leaves as you arrive. Simply an excellent adventure... More

If you can afford it ($540 for 2 people), this is a must-do! Everyone is given a small cooler with ice and 2 bottles of water. You are free to bring a lunch to add to the cooler if you wish. There is seating for only 10 people on the plane, so be sure to make your reservations early! They... More

This is must. If you are in Key West, you must take the trip out to the Dry Tortugas via a sea plane. Forget the cost, just go. The whole trip went off perfectly. I went with my wife and 7 year old daughter. Evan was the pilot and not only was he superb with his aviation skills, but also... More

We flew out to the Dry Tortugas, the 40 minute flight, flying low over the sea, fully narrated throughout, with the odd dash of music which reminds you how much this is a once in a lifetime experience. We saw sharks and plenty of Giant Turtles. Both the staff at the office and the pilot were all very accommodating and... More

We took the 8:00 AM flight out to Dry Tortugas with Evan as our pilot and I have to say if there is one thing you should do in Key West is take this very informational and fun flight to see the fort. Evan was very knowledgeable about shipwrecks and history of all the islands we passed. He also gave... More

This seaplane trip to the Dry Tortugas was the highlight of our South Florida vacation. We took the early morning flight, traveling over spectacular waters. Our pilot was fantastic, pointing out lots of interesting things along the way. We had Fort Jefferson to ourselves for the majority of our visit, and it was a real treat to explore the area... More

This group is A1 from the staff and their great attitude to the meticulously maintained equipment. We wanted a different vacation experience and the mystique of the Dry Tortuga's and getting there in a sea plane fit the bill. The flight is absolutely gorgeous, low altitude so you can see turtles and big fish, ship wrecks and dream or plot... More

We left on the early plane (8 am ) and had the run of the dry tortugas with no crowds. The ferry doesn't arrive til around 11 at which time we were leaving! Gorgeous spot, although the snorkeling is pretty much just swimming since the water is murky and there are very few fish. we saw more fish in the... More
