We got there right when it opened and on a Monday which is supposed to be a quieter time for little ones. Sooo glad we went at that time so my 5 and 2 year old could explore without getting pushed around by the older kids. Loved the cruise ship exhibit since we love to go on cruises. Spent about...

Definitely worth a visit if you are in miami with kids. Plenty to do. Lots of hands-on activities for younger kids (3-9 age bracket). Divided into sections: cruise ships (kids can pretend to steer a ship and learn to navigate) music ( DJing section, musical instruments and more) a mini miami (a pretend fire engine to drive, hospital to play...

There is a Subway on premise where you can get sandwiches, salads, pizza, drinks, and ice cream. Overall, the place was very clean including the...

And highly suggest not to go on the free day (last Friday of the month?), when we were there it was filled with noisy poorly supervised kids.
The museum gives little folks the opportunity to "be" firemen, doctors, store clerks, etc. Children love dressing up and acting out their dream jobs. Parents love watching their children having the time of their lives.
I know some of the things here look old or used, but still, my kids love to visit this museum, my daughter specially loves the "mini" Publix (grocery store), where she can pretend to be in the market and fill out her "mini" cart or pretend to be the cashier. My son loves this museum also, his favorite part it's...
