Its a bit busy on weekends with people having cookouts and such. Personally I enjoy a quieter beach.

This was a wonderful park with a beautiful sandy beach to explore. Entrance fee was reasonable and parking was fine once we got inside the gate. We had to stand in line for approx. 30 mins. and the staff lets in one vehicle at a time as one departs from the park. We did not go until the afternoon so... More

Three visits to this beach left us with two encounters with dolphins swimming about 15 metres from the beach and some magical sunsets.

No the best beach....very small, not much space. And sand is loaded with shells so difficult to walk on barefoot.

This popular and beautiful beach sometimes has to close parking on weekends. We parked two blocks away and walked into the park. We were happy to find concession signs advertising delivery of beach lounges and umbrellas to the five parking lots for a reasonable daily fee. The concession stand is in parking lot #4, but they happy deliver anywhere along... More

I think it depends on the season, but aside from seeing plenty of shells there were no unique birds or manatees to see when we visited.

Nice place, relaxing. You can find a plenty of shels. Just 1 concession point with limeted food (only hot dogs and hamburger). You can rent bedchair and umbrella. Not so fantastic as Bahia Honda or John Pennekamp in Keys

Lots of picnic tables for shady eating and resting out of the sun. Gorgeous sand and beach (it is narrow but beautiful). The dunes and foliage are pretty. Went twice with a lunch and stayed 5-6 hours. Great days.

This was a lovely beach. Well run. Six dollars to get in We had a nice time not too crowded. The beach was not very wide so almost anywhere you sat you were close to the water. Bathrooms were close by and not too far of a walk from parking lot.

The fee for this park is $6.00 per carload. It is worth so much more. The beaches, washroom facilities and parking areas are plentiful and well kept. There are many shaded areas if you have family that does not tolerate the sun well. If you go early in the day, the parking and picnic tables are plentiful. The beach itself... More
