Well, the dog races were entertaining. For a night's entertainment, not a bad choice if there isn't a movie or karaoke bar open. If you haven't been to a dog track for awhile, and you don't mind the tacky atmosphere and dogtrack food , not a useless way to spend an evening.

Not a tourist attraction. Stay away. There is a poker room if you like cards but it doesn't feel like a safe place to carry much money.

We went several years ago, when most of the kids in the family were too young to bet. But, it was still a lot of fun for the whole family. We haven't been back lately, but I would highly recommend it! We didn't visit in August, but it's the last one I could pick.
