We are not open to the public, except for two-hour tours, reserved in advance. Tours are held in the afternoon, usually on Saturdays and Wednesdays at 2pm. Email as far in advance as possible to make reservations. Requested minimum donation is $25 per person; children 10 and under are admitted for a minimum donation of $15. We may be able to schedule a tour on a different day, if we know far enough in advance. Guests will be given a guided tour of the 7-acre animal compound by an experienced wildlife professional. An introduction to each species, basic biology, and how the species arrived at our sanctuary will be discussed in detail. Visitors will be allowed a close up view of the exotic animals. Although we do not allow handling of any of the Reserve’s animals, guests will be able to venture closer to adult African lions than they ever imagined. Also on the tour will be our amazing white tigers, Angel, Krishna, Toruk and Chakra, several orange tigers, cougars, servals, lynxes, leopards, hyenas, coati mundis, and a host of wolves ranging in color from black to white. We also have an enormous bird collection, which includes African turacos, conures, macaws, Amazon parrots, and even parakeets, cockatiels, doves, quail and finches. We feed all of the big cats on the tour, and set up a tiger bubblebath for one pair of tigers. Please come visit us for a wonderful wildlife experience! « less

My boyfriend and I visited the reserve in early May and it was incredible. The volunteers really care for the animals and the amount of information you are provided with while on a tour is outstanding. The tour is $25 a person for two hours AND it is during feeding time. I've been to Big Cat Rescue in Tampa and... More

My wife and I spent an amazing two hours at the Reserve, The compassion of the voliunteers for the animals is heartwarming. The animals in the reserve are Lions, Tigers, Panthers and many others. You see these beautiful creatures up close. The tour guide is informative and provides interesting facts on the characteristics of the animals. The tour is by... More

This 2 hour $25 tour takes you through the wildlife reserve about 30 min from the Historic district of St. Augustine. It was a very interesting tour that makes the money spent well worth it. Our guide, Karen, should probably work on her people skills but she does work with animals for a reason, I guess. She was still very... More

We have lived nearby for several years and finally made the visit to the Wild Reserve. What a pleasant surprise, to spend 2 hours with an volunteer guide seeing all the lions, tigers, leopards and other big cats as well as some wolves and other interesting animals. The also have a lion cub named Narobi that you can spend additional... More

We (just my husband and I) were there on April 24th. I loved seeing all the big cats with a much closer view than you would ever get to see at the zoo. Just being able to see them at feeding time and the tigers in the bubble bath was great! There was a lot knowledge learned about each of... More

A group of committed volunteers who take great care of some very cool animals. Up close and personal tour with great background histories of the locale and the furry residents. Definitely worth the visit.

Really a neat place. Beautiful tigers everywhere. Got to see them up close. I wish they would let you take pictures. iPhone cameras are quiet and would not disturb but they won't. Very interesting.

We visited the Reserve on April 17. Booking by email was easy and the provided information and directions were complete and clear. It's an excellent animal attraction and the guide and assistants were enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. The fee is a $25 donation per person The tour lasts a good 2 hrs, and is a slow walk around the animal... More

We enjoyed our appointment only tour to see many beautiful, well cared for and well loved animals. They were rescued from different situations. The tour guide shared details about each animal and explained many aspects of their behavior. Many of the animals were fed during the tour. Be prepared for a full two hour tour and bring water. It is... More

The guided tour at St.Augustine Wild Reserve exceeded all our expectations. We feared small cages and unhappy animals, but although it's not spacious like a zoo, the animals were everything else than unhappy. We were in a quite large group, which maybe was a bit too large, but the guidd tour still went very well. We got too see a... More
