It is the most peaceful beach I have ever been to. The park is so clean and safe. It is so worth the $8 to get in. Can't wait to go back

If you're the camping type - and I am - you'll like Anastasia State Park. The sites are nicely separated from one another with brush and trees around them. Some sites are larger then others, but all seemed to have ample room for a large tent (or small camper), car parking, canopy, and still plenty of room for the fire...

Went to enjoy the beach but it was very windy and looked like the winter had been hard on it. It was not the beautiful beach I had expected. Bathrooms were not clean at all
During the summer, I am over here about every other weekend. I love the ocean and beach part of this Florida Park. It is so quiet here an the people you meet here are so friendly. They also have an area where you can bring your camping trailer or tent. If you have a Florida park pass, it will save...

If you want to go to a beautiful large beach with few people this is where you should go. They have very good facilities and plenty of parking, although we were there on a Monday so weekends may be different.

It costs about $4 to get in but it is worth it. There is also a souvenir shop and snack bar. I've eaten there a few times and it's always been yummy. They have...

Enjoyed our day on the beach and in the park walking around, looking at the sea birds and relaxing in the quiet atmosphere.
It was our first time coming to this state park but we had a great time and we'll be back for sure. We arrived on a Friday just after lunch and the park was pretty quiet. I loved their gift shop and facilities -- you hardly find nice ones like this at state parks anymore. I forgot to bring a...

Wide beaches for morning walks. Be sure and ask about the gate code--they don't mention it lets you get through a short cut to the main road (only that it gets you back in after hours). It's a LONG bike ride just to get out of the park. The short cut would be helpful. You can also walk down the...

We stayed, in tents, in March and April 2013. Let me say first, it's a great place! Clean, neat and beautiful. Downside... It's noisy. You're only aloud two tents per area. Both times one area had up to 4 tents in the spot. It wouldn't be a big deal except with more tents come party central. 'Quiet time' at 10,...
