We serve more than 30 varieties of wine and beer and have the cheapest tickets around at 5-7 dollars! Built in 1939, you get a taste of the golden era of movies with every ticket! While the theatre is reminiscent of the good old days, our movies are shown on a digital, high-definition projector (when possible; some films only come on "film") and we have Dolby Digital Surround Sound! The Beach Theatre seats approximately 246 people and we have a large stage in the front of the theatre, which allows for special events, such as live bands and acts like "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" performed with a live cast here on Saturday nights at 11:30pm! « less

great place to get out of the midday Florida heat. second run movies and rocky horror at midnights. but the old girl was starting to show her age. seats broken, a funky smell. maybe no money to upgrade the projector to new digital technology. i miss her.

The theater closed a few months ago. There are no plans to reopen anytime soon. It is a shame as this was the only local theater on Saint Pete Beach.

It's worth the time to attend a showing here. It's a bit out of the way and be careful to feed the meters - parking is enforced.

We were blown away on Sunday night when we migrated from the beach to the pool to watch a great movie and have the kids swim and eat pizza. It was a great ending for a great trip.

It's closed now, but, was in a great location....however, seats were terribly uncomfortable, and projector was antiquated. miss it, but, it needs to be refurbished.

Bummed to see this landmark closed. Evidently a dispute between the owners and in the end it shut down. Hope to see it resurrected as it was a great addition to Corey Avenue.

The theatre has closed! It clearly needed major renovations but apparently was not worth the effort.

Always enjoy going to the Beach Theater when I lived in FL. Still go there when in town visiting. It is the way all theaters should be, with relaxed atmosphere, quirky, artsy good movies and able to have a beer or glass of wine.

I will miss the Beach Theatre in St Pete Beach; Always will remember my wife’s surprise when she saw Rocky Horror Picture Show for the first time.

The Beach finally closed down last week. There was insufficient income to survive. It is doubtful that anyone will save the building.
