I try to go to the Palm Tree arboretum each time we visit the area. Always beautiful. It never ceases to amaze me the variety and quantity of Palm trees. Quite area for walking, you'll find people just laying in the soft grass reading. Read the signs if your into botanics. Even though this is in town and tiny, it... More

A palm tree arboretum, who knew there are so many varieties? If you like nature and do not need an interactive app to keep your attention this is a great free outdoor activity. We found the setting to be very relaxing as we strolled along the paths between the palm trees and looking out into Tampa Bay. They have done... More

This shady palm garden is small but perfectly formed. The collection of palms is interesting, but the main thing about this place is the quite, calm atmosphere. It's a wonderful place to sit and contemplate the beauty of this part of the world.

The Gizella Kopsick Palm Arboretum is a hidden gem on the St. Petersburg beachfront. First of all, parking is free! Every visit that I have made here has found folks who arrive with their blankets or folding lounge chairs and a picnic. The arboretum has something like 300 palms representing 150 species of palms from around the world. There is... More

Loved seeing all the different types of palms displayed and brick walkway throughout the arboretum. Needs to update identification signs with more weatherproof ones.

Ever find a secret right in front of your eyes? This arboretum is like that. I've driven past it a hundred times and never stopped to see what it was. When I finally did stop, I had a wonderful surprise! Right there, on Tampa Bay is this great palm strewn area with brick walkways (some of the bricks are printed... More

We happened across this little gem while bicycling in St. Pete and were thrilled. Parked the bikes and walked the entire park. Educational interpretive signage is very well done, and the layout and lushness of the park is spectacular.

This is a pleasant enough place to walk through, but go early to beat the summer heat as there are not many shaded areas to escape the sun. The variety of palms is pretty amazing.
