Everything is great here! Awesome place for kids to run and experience nature at its finest. The airboat tour was a great way to relax and to have the kids secretly learn some great info.

It was cold when we went so nothing but an armadillo to see no gators or birds. You can see more gators in some retention ponds than here.

The trails, the canopy walkway, the tram and the boat trip around the lake - all worth the trip!! The canopy walkway is NOT for people with vertigo or fear of heights.

It is the highlight of the park, seeing the world from this high swinging walkway. Great walks on the well marked paths, beautiful sandhill cranes with chicks on the bird walk.

one of my goals on my trip to Florida was to see alligators in their natural habitat. the air boat ride at the park helped me achieve this goal. I do think you can see some alligators along the bridges without going on the boat ride, but the tour guide was very knowledgable during the slow paced, leisurly lake ride.
