The tour was informative and the mansion was beautifully preserved. I really enjoyed the visit. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Ringling Museum.

A beautiful recreation of an Italian Venetian palace designed around Venetian Gothic architecture completed in 1925 by John Ringling. A true example of America’s Gilded Age when the rich displayed in opulence all their trappings of extravagance and excess. The home is full with many works of art, beautiful antique furnishings, and amenities considered advanced for the home’s period. A...

Our ticket for the afternoon included the Docent tour which was very informative, Sharon knew a lot about the story of the house during its construction and wove a wonderful tale making us feel like guests.
Take some extra time, enjoy the house on your own after the tour and then spend time on the patio or in the lovely...

It is always interesting to see how the wealthy live or lived and the docents who give the tours of this Ringlin mansion make the rooms come to life with their stories.

Worth the visit. I wouldn't necessarily recommend the art and circus museums, but the mansion is great. I highly recommend paying for the docent led tour because you can only see the lower floor with your general admission.
Beautiful House, all the marble was imported from Italy, home of John & Mabel Ringling. Lovely Gardens, well worth a visit
You only get to see the first floor with general admission and it was very gaudy and showy, though interesting to see. The view from the real patio was beautiful. The setting was also amazing.
A beautiful house and its fascinating to see the furnishings and how the very wealthy lived at the time it was built.
John and Mabel Ringling are synonymous with what Sarasota is all about. Go ahead, spend an entire day at this institution a true landmark, Circus and art museums, to the Mable's rose garden to the Ca d'Zan mansion. The gorgeous park setting alone is worth the visit. BTW both eateries are great in their own way.
