Al Lopez Park is a nice park and a nice place to hand out. I have been there on several occasions, such as company event, a Jazz concert, church picnic, etc. and have always enjoyed the part. It is very well kept and lots of trees and they do not hang too low, very nice park

You'd never guess you were in the city. The park is beautiful, has a vita course and jogging trails.

Al Lopez is a great park to venture to in order to hang out with the family and DQ Something different!! This is a nice peaceful environment that you will start including on your calendar even more!

Its a good place to jog, walk and have a get together..It has a fishing pier, so please carry fishing rods if you are visiting the first time..less chances to catch a good fish :)

I used to work near by and would eat lunch at this park. Or bring my kid and dog on a weekend. Nice park.

Occasionally, there are events held here that are sponsored by the city. It is open for people to exercise, walk or jog in. There are a lot of shade trees. Parking is ample. It is a walking distance from the Raymond James Stadium.

Al Lopez Park was recommended to us by staff at the Quality Inn and was perfect for our grandsons. Three huge play grounds, well maintained and clean. They ran around for about four hours and had a blast.

We had a great time. Staff was friendly. Venue was clean. items were nicely price. We were inpressed. We will visit again!

It can be hard to find a good place to walk in Tampa... the city often shows up on lists of the "worst cities for bikers and pedestrians." When I go walking I will drive out to the preserves along the Hillsborough River, but when I have less time I go to Al Lopez. The paved loop is not especially... More
