South Tampa has everything you want: great restaurants, bars shopping and entertainment. Rarely are there traffic problems. A big city feel.

We asked the taxi to choose the best Asian restaurant. It was okay but lacked any sparkle on a week night with staff sitting around buffing their nails.

Has some good restaurants, but don't go on a friday and saturday night, nothing but 'bros' fighting over football. Alot of other cool places to visit in Tampa.

Lots of bars and restaurants and History with Cobblestone Streets in some areas. Particularly enjoyed a Mexican Taco/Tapas Bar called the Lime on Hyde Avenue, I believe.

South Tampa is lovely. There are endless little shops and great restaurants to try. It's upscale and most free of riff-raff. If you live in South Tampa, there is no other Tampa.

Picnic Island has been a recreational treasure in South Tampa since the late 19th century. It is well worth the drive down West Shore Boulevard, meander through Port Tampa's commercial district, and follow the signs to one of the oldest and best-kept secrets in West Florida!

The people in South Tampa are busy doing there own thing but nice, I really love the location and I want to live here. It is in the middle of what Tampa is all about.
