Loved the gardens the island. The beaches are beautiful. Round island and other scenic areas are worth visiting. Not as crowded as further south in Florida.

I did not think I would be overly impressed, but they not only have all the tropical plants, including a cocoanut that fell out of a tree in front of us, but a great glass exhibit. I understand they do something "special" during the season every year. I can't wait to see what they do next year.
Gorgeous botanical gardens. Interesting history, not too big, not too small. Very inexpensive entrance fee. They even have a nice little cafe on site. If you like botanical gardens, this is a good one.
What a treasure right there in vero beach. Botanicals from all over the world right there is a relatively small area. Flowers were incredible.
This is a great place for an afternoon away from the beach or shopping. The paths lead you throughout a variety of eco-systems, with ponds, bridges, exotic trees and beautiful flowers and plants. Lots of opportunities for great photos! And when you are finished, there is a fine little cafe for some simple, elegant snacks.
We picked a weekend that had a special exhibit of glass sculpture displayed throughout the gardens. The sculptures added to the interesting grounds but even without them the gardens were a very nice educational and relaxing walk through some pleasant landscaping and plantings not often seen.
The walking path, lotus flowers, views, flowers, and greenery are just beautiful to see, photograph, or just enjoy. The gardens are full of green and flower growth that you may have never heard of, and well worth the time to visit.
Visited here during the exquisite Frabel glass display and that exhibit just added one more dimension to the beautiful gardens. The trails are shaded so it made for a comfortable walk through the various areas of the garden. Water lilly ponds were everywhere and there were various colors of lillies. Loved the giant cypress and rainbow eucalyptus tree- just amazing!...

Takes you back in time when Florida was undeveloped. Give you insight to what Vero was in the beginning, and what McKee was originally.
We visited the Garden this April. Not many flowers in bloom, but the glass exhibit throughout the garden (up in the trees, out in the water, etc.) by the artist Hans Godo Frabel was wonderful. Relaxing stroll, reasonable price & thoroughly enjoyable.
