We are weekenders in Ellijay and are always looking for neat places off the beaten path. Mountain Valley Farm fit the bill, just a few miles south of Hwy 52 near Hillcrest Orchards. Our kids loved the baby farm animals - clean pens with healthy looking animals, the piglets were a huge hit! The store inside has a hand-washing station... More

Thought we would check this out since it got good reviews. My 4 year old enjoyed the animals. We purchased a roll filet and some smoked bacon and cooked it on the grill tonight. Was so delicious! Would love to be closer to this place so I could purchase more often. You can really tell the difference in the taste... More

If you are like us and need to get away from town on a weekly basis, this is a good place to put on your list. I'd heard of this place from a lady that sat next to me on an airplane, oddly enough. After just relocating from SF to Atl we were in need of place where you can... More

I had passed the signs for this store a few times driving down 52 towards the apple barns and decides to stop and see what it was all about. Stepping out of the car brought back memories of vet school on large animal rotation. Good times... Really cool place with super nice people! They have beef, milk, cheese, eggs (some... More

My family and I visited the Wright's Mountain Valley Farm today and we all had a wonderful, fun time. 450 cows total, 250 are dairy cows, 2 baby piglets, goats, rabbits, roosters, chickens, baby cow..the list goes on and on. I have never seen so many cows eating at one time, and you can get right up to them. The... More

This is the best meat ever! Grass fed, no hormones, etc. We bought bacon, Italian sausage and a variety of beef cuts. The filet was so tender we cut it with a table knife! Definitely worth the trip!

You have nothing if you don't have your health. Go to Mountain Valley Farms for grass fed meats and you will have your health. This meat is soooo healthy. No steriods, no antibiotics, no artificial anything - no pink slime! Just fresh healthy meats. You will certainly see a difference in the taste, the tenderness and how the meat cooks.... More
