They have added several new things to do at stone mountain. The laser and fireworks show is good. The best thing has always been walking up the mountain and looking back at Atlanta.

We visited Stone mountain this past weekend and were pleasantly surprised. It's been over 20 years since my last visit and it's better than ever. The laser show was great and all the other activities for younger kids looked awesome. My kids are a little older so we did not do everything. We took the sky lift to the top.... More

We visited Stone Mountain Park in June and had an amazing time! We bought the Gold Family Value pass for about 40 bucks which included unlimited refills (great for a hot day), lunch (my chicken sandwich was pretty decent), priority seating for the laser show, and lots of other perks. My 7 year old faced his fears on the sky... More

There is a lot to do and fun for all ages at stone mountain. You can just hang out, walk, etc. to do stuff around the park. However there is a lot of neat stuff to see inside and outside the amusement park that will change with the seasons. Kids can get wet in the geyser during the summer, climb... More

During the winter it is snow mountain park. They make it snow....they have tubing and some fun kids snow stuff to do...it is very nice if its not to warm, otherwise the snow melts and its muddy and nasty to try and play in. The little village there was so nice, we saw their Christmas parade at night and then... More

We have visited Stone Mountain Park annually for the last eight years and always have a good time. There is something for everyone in the family. If you are unable to hike, the sky car will take you up and down the mountain but, if at all possible, hiking will give you an up close view and appreciation of the... More

I have been here 5 times over the years. I always arrive at opening and immediately get on the sky tram to go to the top of the mountain. I find walking down allot easier than trying to walk up. First thing in the morning is very peaceful at the top. Wonderful view. Also enjoyed the paddle wheeler. One day... More

Stone Mountain Park has changed significantly through the years, but it offers more attractions for kids and families than ever before. I did the hike to the top of the mountain (700 feet--wouldn't call it easy). I definitely recommend buying the adventure pass if you are there for the whole day with younger kids; however, you can always picnic and... More

My seven year old had a blast. He loved the Sky Hike, the mountain wall, miniature golf, the petting farm and the barn. We spent all day there and didn't have time to see everything. If you have kids with you and you want to see everything you will need two days. We also reserved seats for the laser show... More
