Very nice little zoo, enhanced by the addition of dinosaurs that arrived in June 2013. Great zoo, plus fantastic park adjacent to the zoo. Come early to get the limited number of parking spots.

My family and I loved this zoo. We were able to feed the Giraffes and that was amazing. The staff were really nice and helpful. We loved that they had dinosaurs. I just wish we went in the morning, most of the bigger animals were asleep. Other than that nothing to complain about!

I know this is a small zoo, but I expected more animals on exhibit. The birds exhibit was my favorite. They also had penguins, which were nice to see. The highlight for me was seeing mother and father geese with babies. Very cute. This is an attraction I'd recommend if you have some down time in Boise. Otherwise, it can... More

These days, it's hard to spend a half-day at any attraction for under $20. The Boise Zoo admission was $7 for the days admission. The exhibits -- lions, red pandas, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, and even the very entertaining prairie dogs -- all very nicely laid out, While it's not the San Diego Zoo, it had that feel with its layout and... It is not a big zoo and the potential is there but it seemed a bit run down and in need of some tlc. Some of the larger animals just don't have the room and space they should have and need.

Clean and amazing zoo for any age. The African safari center is fantastic. Kids never tire of visiting this zoo.

I brought my wife and kid to this zoo thinking it was gonna be small and somewhat interesting. I was wrong, this place is pretty cool considering its in lil ol Boise. They had some great animals. The only downside was most of the animals were sleeping when we went. Lol. Oh well. I will definitely come back.

Ended up spending a bit more time at the zoo than I had initially planned but it was merely because of the incredible set up they had. The zoo has a large variety of animals to explore, though I must admit I got a bit sad when the red pandas were hiding, but aside from that, the trip couldn't have... More

We had an afternoon to kill before our flight, and stopped by the local zoo, located in Julia Davis Park. This was a cool mid-sized zoo! It had enough exhibits to offer variety and some animals we hadn't seen before, but wasn't too packed to get around or too crazy to navigate. It was nice to stop by without committing... More
