An old, tree-filled, lakefront, beautiful city park. The older version of millennium park. A must see of Chicago..

I spent a week in Chicago and I never specifically planned to go to Grant Park, but it was there entertaining me all the time. Millennium Park, which was the hub of my activity is a part of it, Buckingham Fountain is there, the Art Institute was there and as I throughout The Loop on the free trolley it seemed... More

This is the ideal place to take a stroll. Read everyone's comments about all the enjoyable events and the adjacent museums. There are so many! But sit down and take in the view while eating a lunch or listening to the sounds in the background. I know that you'll agree that this is a fine place to relax.

Grant Park is the center of Loop. It was The green space for Chicago for many decades. Millennium Park has now rightly taken the claim of Chicago's front lawn, but Grant Park is where all the best festivals are held and a great place to ride bikes

Lolla was good in Grant Park. The Taste is getting better. Grant park on just a weekend afternoon is ok, but the grass areas are so beat up it's hard to enjoy. The park district needs to improve these areas.

Enjoy the many diverse activities that happen here. You can lay. Blanket out and have a picnic, watch. Jazz, gospel or rock concert. You can just have fun.

I did not know what to expect from an urban park. Seeing the architectual details at the entrance, told me that I was about to see something special. The trees, lawns and gardens are well taken care of and beautiful. As Buckingham Fountain came into view, I was stunned. It was bigger and more gorgeous than I imagined. The backdrop... More

Great park right on Lake Michigan. Buckingham Fountain is the second largest in the world. The day we were there the Chicago Jazz Festival was taking place. It's a great place to walk or bike.

See the flowers and statutes, walk by the river...it's great. They had an artist's fair in the rose garden when we went. Nice.
