I spent a week in Chicago and I never specifically planned to go to Grant Park, but it was there entertaining me all the time. This is the ideal place to take a stroll. Read everyone's comments about all the enjoyable events and the adjacent museums. There are so many! But sit down and take in the view while eating a lunch or listening to the sounds in the background. I know that you'll agree that this is a fine place to relax.
Very nice park to walk around. Very large with lots to see. Plan to come back and see more. Nice squirrels want to be feed.

Enjoy the many diverse activities that happen here. You can lay. Blanket out and have a picnic, watch. Jazz, gospel or rock concert. You can just have fun.

Great park right on Lake Michigan. Buckingham Fountain is the second largest in the world. The day we were there the Chicago Jazz Festival was taking place. It's a great place to walk or bike.
See the flowers and statutes, walk by the river...it's great. They had an artist's fair in the rose garden when we went. Nice.
