We just renewed our subscription for next season, and that says something! The recent performance of Timon of Athens was amazing. As I usually find the history plays a bit tedious, I was not looking forward to this production. I could not have been more wrong. It was superb. I could have bought a ticket for the next show and... We saw Timon of Athens on Thursday, May 3rd. Our seats were on the front row left on the main floor of the theater which has an intimate setting. I must admit we bought tickets only because I wanted to see the theater after reading so much about it, however I was absolutely entranced with Ian McDiarmid's portrayal and the... More

Oustanding theatre in a great location. Extremely talented casts. Solid productions. Comfortable and enjoyable even for people who don't normally think that they like Shakespeare. Worth giving it a shot. Chances are pretty high that this IS your thing even if you never thought so. More

The theater is a jewel with a thrust stage that puts you right in the play as some seats are about 5 feet from the stage. The productions are wonderful and we have had season tickets for 4 years. Worth the cost to go and see the plays. More

We've been subscribers for many years, and are constantly being amazed and delighted with the quality of the plays. Barbara Gaines is an amazing director, however many of the plays are directed by guest directors, so there is a variety of interpretations. What I like is the acting is so well-performed and the directing so good that I have no... More
