This may not be true to good ol' Abe reading a book while riding in a covered wagon, but it's a wonderful place for a photo op!
If you are in Lincoln, do stop by. It makes for a great photo and conversation with friends. Ive yet to see the worlds largest ball of twine, but I do have the covered wagon checked off LoL This is a free attraction, maybe a 5-10 minute stop. Easiest way to find on GPS is look for Best Western Lincoln.... More
We stopped to see it on our trip south. We wanted to see some things we have never seen before. Well worth the stop. We also met two nice gentlemen who happened to be photographing it professionally. The one gentleman offered to take a picture for us with our camera. Just goes to show there are good people out here... More
This is the world's largest covered wagon, made by hand, and on display on Historic Route 66. Very neat photo op and opportunity for a history lesson as well.
One of those things you should at least see once if you are in the area. Kind of fun to take a picture in front of it.
The obvious picture taking opportunity with President Abe!
