Naperville's Riverwalk is always a nice place to go. There's always some sort of wildlife to see and everything looks pretty. One can always go window shopping afterwards and maybe get something to eat since the stores and restaurants are close by. The Riverwalk is good choice if you are looking for something laid back.

Naperville is one of the nicest areas in the Chicagoland area. My wife and I have walked along the Riverwalk's 1.75 miles of brick paths many times. . Along the path are several small parks, fountains, bridges over the river, sculptures, places to meet and just about anything you would want to do for a nice day outdoors. Families, teens,... More

The riverwalk is a great place to take a walk by yourself, with friends or a special someone. I love that it is so close to shopping and very good restaurants. Ate lunch at the Rosebud - very good pasta and great pizza!

We visited Naperville in May, and the Riverwalk was beautiful. We enjoyed the beautiful trees and flowers along the Riverwalk. There were interesting sights all along the walk. It is right in the middle of town so there are excellent restaurants and shopping located nearby.

It has a very nice, relaxing feel to it as your walking by it....great for first dates! It is also in the heart of Naperville where you have small boutiques, great restaurants and hip bars.

I was in the area on business. It was a beautiful day that required one to be outdoors, after a quick scan of the map, found the RIverwalk. I expected a park-like atmosphere along a river and found so much more. A nice venue for sculptures and reflection. I especially appreciated the tribute to 9-11. A hometown hero, children's contributions... More

loved this place ,and walked all along to the library which of course was my final destination, autumn leaves add an ethereal look to it,could do some thinking and soul searching on solitary walks here, and Naperville is the safest place, loved that about it.

A great walk, beautiful nature trail, easy access to/from everywhere in downtown Naperville. There are even drinking fountains for dogs at perfect dog-height. Covered bridge is gorgeous.

I like to take my granddaughter for walks along the river because of the beauty of the landscape and because of the ducks which swim in the river. The river walk is very close to nearby shops and restaurants which makes it handy to get an ice cream cone while sitting on a bench watching the ducks swim by!
