We've been to children's museums in over a dozen citites, and this on ranks in the top three. Multi-level, fun, interactive and generally open feel (not cramped all up), it will make for an entertaining half day, regardless of age. They've made it appealing to adults as well.

You won't believe it unless you visit. Everything from pre-school interaction to an incredible Chihuly glass chandelier that extends for several floors. Plan on spending the day- you might as well since the kids won't want to leave anyway and you don't want a scene, do you?

All kinds of interactive displays and special events that change often enough to keep you coming back. Kids and adults equally love it there.

If you live in or near Indy, you owe it to your kids to take them here. We bought a family membership and it has paid for itself many times. There are things for kids of all ages, workshops, a planetarium, and always a changing exibit. We saw the gekkos last time which were interesting and fun to see.

This is an awesome place to take the whole family. We have been members for a couple of years. They have so much for you to see at the Children's Museum. You can take very young children and older children. They will have something for all ages. It is interesting to explore the different areas of the museum. The Dinosaur... More

Took our three boys, ages 7, 5 and 3 on a Saturday morning right when they opened. No line, practically had the place to ourselves. Each and every exhibit is designed to have your children INTERACT with the exhibit. They don't want your kids to just see it, they want them to EXPERIENCE it. In the dinosaur exhibit, their are... Visited the Children's Museum in Indianapolis and it was GREAT. We have been to a couple around the country and this was the best. They have permanant and temporary exhibits and the childern just love them. Make sure you wash hands and use sanitizer to reduce the chance of getting sick.

With four young grandsons we headed for a visit to the Children's Museum. The boys are from out of state and were looking forward to our trip. Unfortunately the museum did not put its best foot forward that day. The restrooms were a mess - paper strewn everywhere and very dirty! The staff were also grumpy and one cautioned the... More

We went to Indiana just for this museum. It was worth it. There are loads of hands on activity for the kids here. My kids loved all the activities here. There is a exhibit on Egypt which is excellent. There is a lab there for experiments which was very interesting. Climbing walls and construction site which was also very interesting.... More
