I like to go up for the 500 race qualifying the weekend before the race. Up in turn one it is a nice relaxed atmosphere. I'm sure it is not so relaxing for the drivers and teams.

Amazing to be inside this place, you enter inside the track and park. It's even cooler that there's a golf course that cuts through. Saw a few cars on the track, really cool to see them whiz by. This was a good day spent. I did the large tour which takes you all around the places of interest on the track. You get the chance to stand on the finish line and the winners podium. Took my parents and aunt & uncle for a visit during Big 10 Football Championship weekend and even those not into racing enjoyed the visit. This place has everything on Indy racing. I enjoyed the movie on the history of racing. The displays are very interesting end educational. And I have to admit, sitting in an Indy car and playing the simulator was fun.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is the place to be if you love racing of all kinds. It is exciting to be there. Drivers and cars are close by when you are walking around the place.

Great museum if you like looking at the Indy racing cars from 1909 to present. They even have a small bus tour of the track which is great since it's the only way to get on the track except for driving a race car!

We have been going to the track for over forty years,lots of changes for the good beautiful track>Only one more thing would make it the perfect lights for night racing,would see a lot more fans.
