The Blue Gate Theatre is a very nice place to go for an evening out. Everything is right there. We had a nice dinner and then went upstairs to a very comfortable theater and watched a great play.

This is the most beautiful building in Shipsy! They have dinners here and shops too. The theater is exceptional! Always great shows and all good seats. A small stage but big shows! Went with some friends form Ohio to see the Confession. Very entertaining. Much better than the one in Ohio Amish country.

We attended the play "Half Stitched" and laughed until we cried! We have attended several musicals/plays at this theater and we are never disappointed. The acting and music is always top of the line. The first time I stepped in the Blue Gate Theater, I saw shocked. How can this place that is relatively small draw such Famous performers and FILL THE HOUSE. We attended a retreat so we had a private dining room. There were 54 of us and we were seated quickly and served very efficiently. The food was very good and we all walked away stuffed.

Oh my goodness, went to see the "Half-Stiched" musical and LOVE IT!!! I guess I was expecting it to be average but my sister and I totally loved it. We are in our 50s - don't know if that helps you know if you would like it but I think everyone would love this musical.

We saw "Half Stitched" at the theatre and it was fantastic. The theatre is very nice and if this was any indication of the quality of acting and production, then it is well worth the time and money.

We had the opportunity to see a musical. From purchasing the tickets online to being escorted to our seats, everything went very smoothly.

I didn't realize that the place would be so crowded but I guess I thought that since school had started thing would be less crowded. Too many people thought as we did and so it was crowded
