It's a really nice hiking. It doesn't have too many trails but it's really worth to go there. If you are lucky enough, a very friendly dog will follow you to complete the trail with your group. I don't remember its name (it's on its tag), but I saw it several times when I've been in the Pinnacles.
The trail head was easy to find and the trails are well marked. Some of the descents are steep and if the ground is muddy, it is a slippery mess. But what nice views of the rolling Kentucky hills. Plus we had Tilly, the trail dog, along for our hike. That was a nice treat. If you are in Berea,...

I've only been there once but I'd love to go back. It is a gorgeous place to go hiking. I even took my children and they enjoyed it.

Great views for the colors. Comfortable rockers on the porch of the Inn to sip coffee and see the Pinnacles.
If you are in Berea you don't want to miss hiking these trails! The Pinnacles are beautiful as you outlook all of Berea's breathtaking nature and gorgeous rolling hills. The hike takes about an hour or two depending on which route you choose. The East Pinnacle Route is more moderate and the West is for a little more experienced hikers...

but worth the trip... We manage to hiked to the only one of the pinnacles. I am so looking forward to go back to do both at the same time
This is the place but not for the weak heart. there are mile markers, be sure to take your water and a snack is helpful for one of the best views in the area
Great hiking and views. Short drive from Lexington. Allows dogs. I go several times a year. It was snowing last trip so visibility wasn't great from pinnacles but snow was pretty.
