The murals painted on the floodwall are an interesting and informative addition to the floodwall. They trace the history of Paducah from its origins through the Civil War and into the 20th century. A very pleasant way to spend several hours on the river front and a nice walk.

Informative work of art. Many things to learn from the art work about Paducah and the area. It is impressive that the river could get high enough that the wall would be needed to protect the town. Great place to walk around with pleanty of free parking.

Beautiful outdoor art! Great perspective and very informative about the history and the development of Paducah, KY and how life was here at the confluence of the Ohio and Tennessee Rivers.

Paducah has managed to turn a concrete flood retaining wall into a work of art. The wall is a series of well done pictures dipicting various stages of the history of the Paducah area from the early indian settlements to the entering of the atomic age. There is a small, brass plaque in front of each picture telling about the... More

The paducah flood walls are awesome! so crisp and bright with color, it is like each one was painted by Thomas Kinkade! So many different subjects and historical figures. There is at least 50 if not more!

I enjoy driving by the wall and re~reading them. Everytime I have family or friends in town I always take them down to the flood walls to read and see how beautiful they are
