We had a complete and very informative tour. Headphones were provided so we were able to hear everything and the lady guide was very good. Lunch items looked appetizing and well prepared though we didn't eat there. Certainly one of the best Bourbon Trail experiences.
The grounds and visitors center were absolutely beautiful and a pleasure to take in. The tour itself was a little dry. It was conducted over headsets - made it feel like a museum and not a fun bourbon tour like it should have. It seemed like the tour guide was just reading off a script and didn't really know anything...

The drive to get here was beautiful. Black fenced horse pastures as far the eye could see. The property was beautiful and we really enjoyed the free sample of bourbon balls and whiskey.
Nice tour of the distillery, get a 1/2 shot of bourbon after (I didn't feel the need for a long dissertation on what exactly I would taste, so if you need this, you won't get it here) and a bourbon ball (chocolate and bourbon - hard to go wrong w/ this combo). We haven't been on any other distillery tours,...

Historic buildings, fun, interesting tour, great guide, super bourbon. This was our 1st bourbon tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. Beautiful countryside with picture perfect horse farms scattered through the rolling hills of KY.
This tour will cost you $5 but it's worth it. They give you head phones, transport you on a bus, give you a great deal of knowledge, and show an operation that makes one heck of a bourbon. It's amazing how much goes into producing the bottle you drink. I think it represents American craftsmanship at its finest. I know,...

May not be very intersting for kids but certainly a must see for adults! Beautiful setting and very informative about how Bourbon came to Kentucky!
This distillery is one of the better ones to tour. The size of the operation (medium) really let's you see it all. The staff is super friendly. Definitely worth the trip.
We didn't have time for a tour of the distillery, but we had a tasting which included a delicious bourbon ball for dessert. We also had lunch on the porch which overlooked the beautiful grounds. Next time, we will take the tour to get the full experience.
