Historical perspective made tour very interesting to me. My grandchildren were bored but I love history and thought it was excellent.

Great guided tour. Really interesting. Took 2.5 hours. Don't be put off by the looks of the place, we nearly were but really glad we went on the tour. Enjoyed it.

We spent a whole afternoon at Frogmore and had a great time. The Tanners have done quite a job of developing the historical aspects of the plantation. The highlight of our visit was Lynette's discussion of the impact of the Civil War on plantation life. She had a very interesting PowerPoint presentation and then took us on a tour of... More

This is an interesting place to visit and we enjoyed our walk around the grounds. However, upon arrival the person who was giving tours was rushed and rude. She acted as if it was an imposition that my friend and I wanted to do a self-tour. She huffed and went into the store and called someone up (the owner??) and... More

Thank you for your comments. Without thoughtful customers like you, owners would not be aware of such incidents. As with most businesses, owners can train and strive for 100% satisfactory customer service, however, employees sometimes have personal emergencies or unusual stress that affects their personalities on rare occasions. I apologize for her behavior and have shown her your comments. Thank... More

Our visit to Frogmore Plantation was one of the best experiences of our visit to the Natchez area! Unlike most of the plantation tours in the area, Frogmore focuses on the lives of the slaves and other plantation workers that made the opulent lifestyle of the plantation owners' possible. Our tour was conducted primarily by the owner of Frogmore Plantation.... More

Thought it would be very interesting to see a cotton plantation in the south . This place does not dissappoint. Very well done presentation by well informed ladies of the south. We were a little surprised at the different opinions on the treatment of slaves on this plantation. I can believe it though because the people that ran this plantation... More

Where do I begin?? Lynette, our tour guide, was amazingly well-read, informative, objective, approachable, professional, efficient, personable & entertaining...this is a tour NOT to be missed!! My 10 year old daughter greatly enjoyed picking the cotton & even brought back enough samples for her entire class -- as they are soon to begin studying the US Civil War -- The... More

We missed the small sign at first, but made our way there. Two tour buses were already walking around the buildings and we joined in about halfway thru the historic tour. The guide was informative and the buildings interesting as the 5 and 14 year-old children tried to imagine life 150 years ago. We weren't able to see the cotton... More

Frogmore plantation tour was fascinating. Our tour guide was the owner and definitely take the tour with her as her historical perspective and interest in the land is fantastic. The video was very interesting in both current and historical perspective of cotton. There is very little waste in the production of cotton. Under Armour has worked together with American cotton... The Frogmore Plantation is a very complete depiction of what a cotton plantation would have been like during salvery. Walking through the buildings fills out the tour very well with very impressive visual aids allowing one to proceed back in time to picture what life would be like. Even the video showing how cotton is produced using modern equipment on... More
