I love this golf course. You have to take a cart as it is very spread out. It isn't easy, but the views! I also stayed at the resort and the rooms were very nice. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The food was very good at the restaurant. Ate there a couple of times. Did not feel the need... More

I've been skiing all of the mountains in New Hampshire (my home state), but Sunday River is an entirely different experience. The resort is very large, the terrain is varied and excellent, and the North Peak lodge is a great place for a lunch (only accessible to skiers) It's my new favorite ski resort. In NH, I like Loon and... More

We likked the trails for expert to novice, the grooming was excellent. The general layout of the lodges, hotels and lifts were excellent. The Lodge was very accomodating.

The seven peaks of Sunday River always have something to offer. I have been skiing there for years and will get another season pass last year. There are bump runs (Caramba, Agony), glades (easier ones like Blind Ambition and more challenging like Wizard's Gulch and Celestial) as well as dozens of groomers. Most of the terrain is geared toward groomed... More

We've been going to Sunday River for years and have always enjoyed it. Lots of terrain, easy to get around, not too far from the Boston area. For this trip in particular it was great to find almost all the terrain open at the end of March, although there were a lot of tree stumps and rocks to dodge in... More

I have been skiing at Sunday River for over 22 years and the past few years I have noticed that It seems that the resort operations management has become overly sensitive to wind conditions affecting lift operation. I been burned three years straight driving all of the way up there for a weekend getaway only to find that the majority... More

I have a camp in the woods only 10 miles from Sunday River. Sunday River is a world class ski area but as I tell my friends in the Boston area, It's like skiing on 128, (the beltway around Boston.) with all the same people in the cars on 128. No locals, all Mass plates in the lots which are... More

I've been skiing here many weekends a season here for about 20+ years and I just love, love, love it...you can choose your own adventure and one day is never like the day before. If you know your way around the mountain, you can find a sweet place and be skiing solo! When there's great snow, SR does a spectacular... More

This is my favorite place to go snowboarding in New England. They have a lot of lifts, so even on Saturday and Sunday, the crowds aren't bad. They do a really good job with snow making and grooming as well. If you haven't been to Sunday River go!

After doing Sugarloaf the day before, Monday March 11th, 2013 at Sunday River was very entertaining. The mountains aren't as massive, but varied and well maintained. The names and layouts kept us amused and challenged as we made our way from end to end along the 8 peaks. The tops of the mountains were in the clouds until 10, then... More
