We are a community of local farmers, fishermen, and artisans who bring our finest quality to each Thursday morning market. We started in 2000 with just a few farmers and we now have 25 members. Taste delicious samples of fresh, local food at our market.

Much smaller than I anticipated. It was nice but very limited maybe 20 booths all spread out on the grass. Grass was pretty wet and a little muddy. It was probably a 20 minute walk around and we did grab some croissants and coffee.

Lots of great local products. This is a good sized Farmers Market with a good variety. We bought jam, locally roasted coffee, Asian cooking sauce and were tempted by lots more!

We spend the summer in the Boothbay area and almost always visit the Farmers' Market on Thursday mornings. Fresh produce. Good smoked sausages and fish. Big Barn Coffee. Maine maple syrup. Fresh bread. What more do you need to be happy?? It's a community tradition and it makes you feel good just to participate.

Go here early on Thursadys for locally, generally meaning within 50 miles of Boothbay, created items. In summer there is a wide variety of foods, flowers, and hand made items. The pricing is aggressive, though, from this part of Maine.

There are always yummy surprises at the farmer’s market. I picked up yummy chorizo, garlic scapes, great jams and beautiful blueberries. Can’t wait to go back next week.

I enjoy local farmers markets because they say so much about the culture of an area. We were fortunate to be visiting Boothbay on a Thursday. The market is held only on Thursday mornings from 9:00-12:00. As tourists, we had no way to cook or otherwise use the beautiful vegetables and fruit. However, we bought maple syrup and wild mushroom powder to take home. An unusual assortment of wares were available, including bourbon. The sellers were friendly but not pushy.
It was a pleasant way to spend an hour. You can certainly spend less time here and still enjoy the experience.
Very nice public restrooms are located just across the street.

The Farmer’s Market has returned for the season. Fresh veg and baked goods. Traffic was strange, but the Market was good.

It is at the Boothbay Commons, a peaceful place to visit with cheerful, helpful vendors.
