Trip was a little long, but very enjoyable. Food was O.K., on the boat. The museum was enjoyable and was free. The people who ran the operation were extremely friendly and made this enjoyable.

We were fortunate to have excellent weather for 3 hour cruise aboard the Katahdin. We brought along our lunch (although available on board) and binoculars (glad we did) Wished I had brought along a cocktail for ride back. We enjoyed the movies (of logging in particular) at Marine Museum. I would recommend, weather permitting.

Something you really have to do when you are at Moosehead Lake. First visit the museum so you have some informative information on your cruise its is extremely interesting. These cruises don't run until the end of June. Unless you hire a guide or take a float plane trip, there is no alternative to having your own boat in Greenvile if you want to actually see the lake.
