It is not far from Ogunquit but it is like a day trip in itself because it is so different than being at the beach. Several trails that are not difficult and you can get your exercise in. Nice views of York County. It was not busy and we felt like we had the place to ourselves.

This was our second visit to this mountain, we decided to volunteer some time to help out and maintain the parking ad trails - lot of hard work but knowing we were helping out so that others can enjoy the miles of trails made it all worth the effort

We noticed Mount Agamenticus on our map and thought we'd take a look. What a look it was! As you approach the main park be sure not to go straight past the entrance (the entrance is a right turn into a very steep and winding road up to the mountain top). If you go straight onto the dirt road, you'll... More

Hike and run here all the time. All skill levels as you can drive to the top. Beautiful spot. Maps available. Most trails do involve some hills very little flat walking.

We go here with kids or just for a laid-back hike. It's nice for large groups of children—no cliffs to run off. :o

Found it on the tourist map and wanted to see it. A very quiet bit of scenery and good spot to have a quiet picnic or walk the dog.

Take a trip up there ... especially in the fall ... lots of views from the ocean to the mountain tops! You might even spot the local friendly animals that stop by often.

This is a great hike if you live in southern Maine and need some exercise. It can be accessed all year long. Don't be surprised at the top when you see cars, there's an auto road too. The place is really being fixed up for a great spot to enjoy the view and some fresh air.

away from it all but in the midst of forest , trails and wildlife. great site. You can be at the beach everyday. This site allows you to get out, stretch, let the kids run around and go for a hike. great views of Maine, NH and Mass
