The most visited stretch of this street is bounded by Casco Bay Lines at its eastern end and Becky’s Diner at its western end. Sidewalks parallel both sides of a broad thoroughfare; do pay attention to their uneven pavements. Lots of amazing restaurants and shops. Warm gingerbread at Three Dollar Dewey's, beautiful home shops, the oceanfront view and smells, Becky's Diner, Portland style cheap eats.
Even on a rainy day this stroll was worth the trip. Many places to duck inside and get warm and dry. Tons of shopping and great places to eat. Next day stroll even better in sunny, dry weather.
This is a great street to walk down. There are great restaurants and shops on both sides of the street... and there is also a ferry terminal so that you can check out one of the many islands Casco Bay has to offer.
From Becky's diner at one end to Ri Ra at the other the are a ton of place to eat and shop on Commercial Street
Wonderful area to stroll and shop and just take a leisure time to see the city. There were all kinds of shops for souveniers and for shopping. There was also a great selection of restaurants to chose from
There are so many shops and restaurants you can spend the whole day there. There are plenty of places to sit by the water and enjoy a lobster roll or any other fish you may desire.
This is where it is all happening! Food food food! It has all kinds of food here to eat. This city is second to San Francisco in how many restraunts it has per square mile.
