The CCRT offers the perfect opportunity to bike and explore. Rode to the northern end of the trail at Wellfleet and veered off ½ mile to the LeCount Beach. Also went to the southern end of the CCRT towards Chatham and then picked up the Old Colonial Bike Trail that loops around the Chatham Lighthouse. There are plenty of beaches... More

Disapointed that the train did not cross the rail bridge at the canal. Kids can get really board especially on the return trip so bring something for them to do. Look for discount coupons since it's expensive for what it is.

The trail is paved and has plenty of room for bikes and walkers. The maps and trail markers are well placed.

This 35 mile trail, once a railroad track, is one of the best features of the area. Well maintained and easy to ride. Lots of nature and places to shop or eat along the way. Can get crowded during peak tourist season, but is lightly used otherWise

We had so much fun and the scenery was awesome. Lots of things you couldn't see by roadway. The kids had fun but the whistle on the train was very loud. I recommend bringing earplugs or ear muffs.

Path is very well maintained. Gets busy on weekend afternoons so if you are cycling be prepared to deal with families on foot and little kids on bikes. mornings and mid week are so much better for a good ride. Lots of places to stop along the way, good parking lots.

endless walking. biking.. such a gift to enjoy at no cost! Ice Cream and seafood along the way in Eastham. Or lunch in Wellfleet! Beautiful trails. Still a favorite in our family for a short run or long ride!

The Cape Cod Rail Trail is a real treasure on Cape Cod and is a must to enjoy! I have enjoyed the trails many times. I always start my rides in Orleans. My son and I have taken an enjoyable all day ride enjoying marshes and beaches and everything in-between. There are bike shops in Orleans where you may rent... More

Smooth, paved bike path in the old railroad right of way. Gentle hills and mostly wooded. Great for family bike trips. Adequate locations for food, drinks, and a few bike shops also along the route. Paths are always being extended into adjacent towns, so look for an updated map on every trip here. Caution at street crossings-motorists may not be... More

The Rail Trail stretches all over the Mid-Cape area. You can go from Dennis to Orleans and beyond and never have to really ride on a street or highway. The trail is paved and well-maintained. Lots of little food places have sprung up along the trail, including some that are just picnic tables in someone's backyard. It is rarely crowded.... More
