Loved watching the tides while standing on the pedestrian bridge and watching the children playing in the ponds. Walking over to the twin lighthouses when the tide was out.

The beach was stunning and helped by fantastic spring weather. Dogs are not permitted after 1st May, so the beach was clean. The setting was perfect for a walk along the waters edge.
I'm a big fan of Good Harbor because I live only 1/2 mile from it. It's a beautiful beach but it took a pounding this winter from all the storms.. Beach erosion, the walking bridge. All will be fixed no doubt for the summer. In the fall, winter and spring, it's a great place to take a wall and bring...

What a spot to watch the sunrise - anytime of year. This 1/2 mile crescent of sand in in high demand during the summer season. Crowded for sure, it is the place to see and be seen. The creek offers a fine experience away from crashing surf for the very young and the timid. If you don't get here by...

As we were there in February, we just enjoyed the beauty of the beach and ocean. Windy and cold when we were there, but have been in the summer and it is a good beach!
there is no parking and it isn't really a very walkable beach. actually better if you have a boat to pull up off the beach. There are better places to go for a beach.
Beautiful beach, no rift raft. Be prepared to cough up some dough for parking especially on the holidays. Other then that, it's a fantastic clean beach. No complaints at all. Totally worth it!
We stay at B&B close to the beach and walk there. The people who go are respectful of the environment and love the ocean. It is a natural resource of Cape Ann.
This is a perfect beach for little ones with convenient snack bars and a tidal pool for easy wading. The water goes out far and the sand is smooth, at low tide you can walk to the island and explore. The parking fills up early so arrive early and it's expensive for out of towners, especially on weekends.
Being a native of Gloucester, Good Harbor Beach is one of the most popular. I have spent many, many days sunbathing and swimming...enjoying the surf. It's great with children too, as at high tide, the creek is great to swim and play in. Aside from the Snack bar, there are many restaurants in the area after a beautiful day at...
