It’s Brewpub features the brewery’s award-winning craft beers brewed on-site, with a bar shaped like the port side of a ship. Long, German-style wooden tables and a sitting area with several rocking chairs create a mellow, laid-back atmosphere unlike anything else in the Cape Ann community. Classic board games are available for leisurely enjoyment. Local artist renderings adorn the wood-paneled walls and the large picture windows look out onto St. Peter’s Square where the famed St. Peter’s Fiesta is held each June. « less

We stumbled upon this place while walking around Gloucester and had planned to go in for one beer and move on. However when we sat down, in what we thought was a really fun beer hall we couldn't bring ourselves to leave until we had tried several of the excellent microbrews. They have a beer sampler set which gives you... More

Glad you guys brought your "Sexy Minds" in for trivia night and had a good time(I'm not being creepy folks, that was their team name...sheesh). Glad we'll be one of the good things you can talk about when you get home to Denmark. Cheers! More

Ok so it's picinic style dining. You are sitting with other strangers...and basically in each other's conversations. The beers were GOOD, but that's where it ends. The butternut apple squash soup tasted like a campfire!! The pulled pork sandwich came out after I took one sip of my soup...how bout spacing out my meal a bit?? THAT was REALLY annoying!... More

First let me express my apologies that you didn't enjoy your experience at The Pub. As far as the beer hall style seating, it's not a secret to the patron as when you walk in the tables are all right in front of you. If your preference is not to eat at one of the long tables then there are... More

We sat outside and watched the fishing boats unload. We ordered a Fish Sandwich and Chicken Quesadilla. Both were good. My husband had a few beers but they do not have a liquor license so no cocktails. Service was very friendly and prompt. Would go again

We made a brief stop here on the Taste Gloucester tour and were impressed with the beers. I've never had a pumpkin stout before so I was pleasantly surprised. The food portion we received was much larger than I would have expected and was much better than I was expecting as well for a brewery. Best calamari I've had in... More

We've been the the brewery three or four times. We just can't seem to get a decent meal. We've tried the seafood, wings, burgers with no luck. We've tried them over the course of several months and still no luck. Go for the beer, it is really good.

Nice view, good beer (obviously). I didn't like the way the beer was poured, though. I ordered two beers and both pints were not full to the top. There was a space of about 1/2 inch from the top, where the head should be, where there was nothing. The head on the beer was small to nonexistent. For a brewpub... More

Another great brew pub after a day of climbing and/or the beach. This place has good and unique beers. There is no wine, the tables are picnic style, and the environment is super casual: a true brew pub. The server was friendly, and the food is good. There are vegetarian options. The veggie burger is good. When in the area,... More

The Cape Ann Brewpub is conveniently located - on the harbor. A good variety of their own brews. Casual dining.

It's a just as a pub should be. Friendly, casual, good food, not to noisy, games, long benches and tables for everyone so you get to know your neighbor. Tables outside also.

My husband and I enjoyed the fish and chips and fish tacos. Fish was great - fresh and dipped in a delicious batter. We also enjoyed the local brew. The server was friendly and the service was fast. My husband was thrilled that he wouldn't miss his Ravens game. Great date night.
