Living on Nantucket sometimes can get frustrating when traveling. HyLine cruises is fabulous. Compared to other means of commuting, you can't beat it. People are always friendly, no one has attitude in the ticket office, they are always helpful and make the 1 hour trip a pleasure. It's the only boat I'll take. They try to work with islanders and... We did a round trip from Hyannis to Nantucket for 2 adults and it was $150. The trip is about 60 min one way. The staff was nice and the accommodations were good. Overall great trip.

Took the ferry from Hyannis to Nantucket. 1 hour trip each direction. Smooth ride and excellent Homemade Chicken Salad sandwich ($6.00) I have never been on a ferry that had banquet style seating, very comfortable although I wish the television had something else on other than sports. Would definitely take this ferry again.

I've always taken the slow boat to Nantucket. It's a lovely journey but I must admit the shorter boat ride made the commute much more reasonable. The fast boat gets you to Nantucket in 1 hour as opposed to the 2.5 hours of the slow boat. However, cars aren't allowed and they are less able to run in rough weather.... More

Young dock staff are rude, arrogant, disrespectful, unhelpful, they get upset when you don't tip them & don't even willing to talk when something asked. Old security staff has no knowledge about the island & especially safety. I've spoken to their manager about unloading the carts (lead by the captain pulling while running) from the boat to the island so... More

The high speed Hy-Line trip to Nantucket could not have been easier. We made reservations even though it was a weekday (but probably didn't need them, this time of year.). I'd recommend reservations for a weekend though, based on what we heard people saying. We also pre-paid for a parking spot when we made the online reservations, which was worth... More

I happened to buy tickets ahead of time to make sure we had seats - I have seen how crowded it can get in the summer and busy times. We took the slower ferry - but either one is great. Plenty of space for the kids to stretch. A little refreshment bar inside - with drinks and muffins and little... More

We arrived at Hy-line cruises just minutes before the ferry that we wished to take was scheduled to leave. We were completely unprepared for how crowded it was and did not realize that we should have made advanced reservations. This was the 1st time for us to try the Hy-line. The reservation attendants were very kind and told us that... More

Great day on the high speed ferry to Nantucket. We bought tickets online and paid for parking and a bus tour on the island. We forgot we had already paid for parking so paid the $10 again as we parked. When we mentioned it at the ticket office, they didn't offer to refund the $10. (would have been nice and... More

We were in cape cod over Labor Day and wanted to go to Nantucket. After reviewing our options we called hy-line fast ferry. Got seats on the 11am ferry over but couldn't get ant back til 8:30 pm. My husband walks with a cane and I figured the day might be too long. At 5 pm we were ready to... More
