Lots of light, materials for all ages, many comfortable areas to read and research materials. The model of the ship was awesome!
This is a typical small town library as far as the books are concerned. Lots for kids and older people. The draw for this library however is the 3/4 scale model of the sailing vessal the Dorathea Rose. Yeah, right in the middle of the library, taking up two stories. It is beautiful and majestic (although a weird thing to...

Very nice quaint library. Where else can you find a half size replica of a sailing vessel in a library? Amazing. Being a guest I found it a bit difficult to use the temp internet...just let me sign in...but still...love this place.
The library is beautiful and friendly to visitors. it stands out in the center of P Town. A great place to rest after a long hike after visiting the P Town Light Houses. There's a funny but lovely sculpture on the side walk in front of it of two tourists.
We took our family in to see the replica of the ship on the second floor and stayed an hour filtering through used books for sale for 1 to 3 dollars a piece. The librarian was really sweet. Gorgeous building.
This newly remodeled building is one of the most attractive pieces of architecture in Provincetown and houses an incredible selection of books and art, even a ship 2 stories tall. It entertains local residents in the cold winter months by playing free films every Wednesday of the week. A place where you can have solitude and quiet during the busiest...

The old library is an architectural joy; the ship replica on the 2nd floor is very unique and interesting. For a moment of quiet and interesting views stop by the library. And it doesn't cost anything, unless you're like me and can't pass by the "books for sale" cart at the entrance...
Beautiful newly restored building and one of town's architectural treasures. Impeccably run and the core of most of town's off season cultural venues. Climb to the last floors to enjoy the beautiful view of the bay and the Rose Dorothea Schooner. Although it is half scale model replica it plunges you into a piece of the town's glorious maritime heritage.
The surprise , go all the way up and look. It is a nice place to hang out.. We loved that we could get out of the heat on a very hot day and just have a place to go and read.
