This is when everyone is anticipating summer and still light and easy. The scene is crowded in the summer months.

The poeple are diverse. There are so many great shops, something for everyone. If you want to eat it, you can find it there. Many spots have ocean views.

After 15 years of walking or riding down Commercial St. it still amazes and amuses me! There is so much to see it is nearly over whelming. Just people watching is entertaining and nothing beats a seat on a bench in front of town hall to watch the world go by. On any given day in the height of summer... More

It's a fantastic street for wandering around in and out of the shops, galleries and eateries. There is access to the beach to take in the beach views, boats and sand ! You can loose yourself for hours !

Easy to find and navigate. Excellent shops and good value for your money. Shop keepers are friendly and helpful, There are also many excellent restaurants in the same street so one can park and do everything from shopping to eating to just gazing out into the ocean and enjoying the tranquility of the sea.

Some interesting and unique shops from a ship chandler to a bric-a-brac store, from tee shirt shops to bottle stores and from gift shops to a Portugese Bakery ... some wonderful restaurants and many art galleries! Easy access to beach and harbour.

Commercial street is like nowhere else we've been. Quirky shops that sell everything from furniture to sex toys to Buddha's. Lots of little restaurants and ice cream shops. Great people watching. We never go to the Cape without a visit. Right now the street is being repaved and all new sidewalks have been installed.

Packed full of shopping, dining and drinking establishments. A nice place for families to visit during the day, but I wouldn't suggest family outings at night, things can get a little crazy. Its a great getaway for the LGBT crowd, no worries, you are the majority!
