I love this little museum. The guided tours are lovely, the stories and music is wonderful. I definitely recommend visiting this museum!
Fantastic piece of Rock & Roll history ! Steeped in historical facts and memorbilia this is a must for anyone that knows Motown music. Put in on your bucket list!
This museum is a must go for any music or Americana enthusiast. This place is not only the greatest landmark of the music industry, but is also a great landmark for American Culture. The Motown story embodies the American dream, it is a great story of entrepeneurship, originality, liberty, unity and love. The buildings are beautiful and original, and contain... More
There was a tour guide who took you around the house which was made into a recording studio back in the 1960s. The tour guide was very informative and interesting. There are a lot of facts and funny stories of Steve Wonder, Marvin Gaye and the other Motown artist. Also, there are a lot of original artifacts (music instruments). Enjoyable!
The museum is very small and tours are guided. I've been there twice and both times the guides were wonderful - energetic, positive, and full of information on the history of Motown. If you're visiting Detroit or live in the area, it is a must-see.

It's where all the great Motown hits were recorded. You can see the original microphones, drums, etc. The guide that showed us... More
Fantastic place to visit if you're in the area, lot's of history here from many of our great singers. Cover charge was adequate and there's parking right next door as long as there's not a funeral going on that day.
This was a wonderful experience. It was like being right in the middle of musical history and the tour guide was awesome. Absolutely brilliant - probably the best visit of our entire two week trip to the States.

She was very young and quite knowledgeable about the place, the history and the musical legends that started their careers at this house. The tour was very interactive and incorporated crowd participation of singing throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed the museum. Of course, everyone should wait and take a... More
