My husband and I came across this beautiful museum during our first year anniversary trip to Michigan's Upper Penninsula, and it is a must-see destination for families, couples individuals! A must for anyone interested in Native American and history. The staff is very friendly and the local crafts are amazing! The museum is fun for all ages and very educational. Also a great stop for school groups to learn about the Ojibwa culture and history.

Not as big as I was hoping, but all in all a nice place. Nice location it was very easy to find, right across from the docks.

This was a very nice small museum but had a lot of information! We Home school and used this visit as part of a small field trip. They have a short video to watch, displays, and a gift shop with items from the local area.

I would highly recommend this small museum. Great information and artifacts on the local native history and culture. The girl at the front was very helpful. The admission is free however we made a donation. The items for sale are genuine native crafts which is really great.

We learned a lot about Indian culture and the woman at the counter was very friendly. There was a movie to watch and there was another video about canoe making. I guess the part I disliked was the items for sale were very expensive.

I always enjoy visitting Indian Museums and gaining some knowledge of the various tribal histories and was not disappointed by this museum. Whilst fairly small it is packed with useful information.

Very cool. Really liked the video about the family. No charge to get in....just a donation. You must see the one down the street also. That is worth a donation also
